We love the idea of having dogs in the office, there’s no doubt they bring joy, connection and a great energy to the space. That said, we also need to make sure it works for everyone and fits with our operational needs.
This page outlines our approach so we can keep things fun and functional.

🗓 When dogs can come to the office
- Dogs are welcome once or twice a week, depending on your role and operational requirements.
- We can support team members bringing their dogs in on an adhoc basis - just speak with your manager or the people team in advance.
- If you need to bring your dog in more regularly, we’re happy to have a conversation - but if you’re relying on bringing your dog full time, our office environment might not be the right fit.
⏳ New starters and onboarding
- For your first month at Onetrace, we ask that you don’t bring your dog in.
- This gives you time to fully focus on settling into your role, building relationships and learning the ropes without distractions.
✅ What we ask of you and your dog
To make sure it’s a positive experience for everyone:
- Dogs must be toilet trained.
- They should not be disruptive (barking excessively, jumping on people, damaging property, etc.).
- You’re responsible for your dog’s needs during the day, including walks, feeding and cleaning up after them.
- Before bringing your dog in, ask yourself - is this the right environment for them?
